A fun workshop that will provide language teachers with a pool of different games and other fun things for use in the classroom. The workshop will provide trainers with fun ways to help non-native speakers to understand casual expressions, accents and vocalization, body language and social skills in the English language through role-play and communication exercises. 

 

Biography 

 

Abigail Paul holds a BFA in Theatre from the University of Central Florida, and a Master's Degree in Mass Communications from the University of Leicester. She has worked in casting for film & television (Nickelodeon, Mel Johnson), and was a talent agent, representing actors for roles on television and film (The Diamond Agency). She has also worked as an actor, director and producer both for a previous theatre company, where she was the Artistic Director (The Cerulean Group), and currently for TLS Frankfurt (www.tlsfrankfurt.com).

 

She has performed, studied and coached improvisational theatre since the age of 14, and has been fortunate enough to have trained in LA (Comedy Sportz), NYC (The PIT, Magnet, Chicago City Limits), London (Improloogy), and Germany (Keith Johnstone). She performs monthly with Frankfurt International Theatre Sports in Bornheim at the Interkutlturelle Buehne, and is currently a secondary school teacher at the European School in Frankfurt, where she teaches English, Ethics and Drama.
