Blending Technology with Face to Face Teaching Michelle Portelli, Cambridge-English360.

Blended learning has been a theme at ELT conferences since consistently reliable broadband became widely available. But what is meant by “blended learning” – is it appropriate for your teaching situation, and if so how can it be implemented?

The workshop will look at the whys and wherefores, as well as delve into the teacher and learner expectations and fears that often accompany this growing, new dimension of teaching and learning.

While the specific platform we’ll be exploring will be English360 – which is in collaboration with Cambridge University Press – we will also offer input on blended learning platforms in general.
